How long do villagers stay up?

ooo interesting, i just wanted to know in case cherry went to sleep, (people are visiting) i dont think she's the type to sleep though.
omg as i type this she went OUTSIDE IM YELLING, no more iron garden bench for y'all.

While each personality type has their own set time, there are some occasions where a villager may not sleep at this time. If you talk to them while they're out and about, they'll say something along the lines of "I just couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd walk around a bit!"
I had Daisy, a normal villager, walking around at 4am (her bedtime is 11pm I believe) and told me she couldn't sleep.
Likewise, villagers may also wake up earlier than they are supposed to as well.

For me, lazy, normal, and jock villagers will sleep first usually around 12:00 AM with other personality types sleeping later (unsure at what time). Sometimes villagers can break their sleep schedule, like for example, I had Egbert stay up all night because he said he drank coffee.
depends on the personality. normal and lazy villagers go to bed around 11pm-1am. snooty, cranky and uchi villagers go to sleep around 2-3am, smug villagers go to bed around that same timeframe and i haven’t had a peppy in a while so i can’t remember what time they typically sleep. however, villagers will occasionally go to bed/wake up earlier or later than they normally do or sometimes they’ll even pull an all-nighter
Each personality has a set bedtime, it's something like... lazies sleep at 11PM, normals sleep at 12AM, jocks sleep at 12:30AM, peppies sleep at either 1 or 1:30AM, snooties and smugs sleep at 2AM, sisterlies sleep at 3AM, and crankies sleep last at 4AM. Not entirely sure on the middle ones, there, but it doesn't seem to vary, it's pretty strict.
It seems like most nights a random villager will also be chosen to have insomnia, though, and just walk around until the 5AM reset, I assume to keep night owl players company.

some seem cursed to never sleep so long as you're playing the game
villagers have a basic schedule based on their personality type, but each day always seems to have at least one that stays up until 5am because they couldn't get to sleep
also, you can have villagers waking up earlier than their normal schedule as well

My Rosie (peppy) just went to bed at about 1:30AM. Kabuki and Chief (cranky) are still awake, singing at lakes etc. Francine and Whitney (snooty) are also awake and doing things outside/in their house. My Cube (lazy) is awake rn but he is usually asleep at about 11PM. And my two normal villagers (Pekoe and Coco) are asleep. They usually sleep at around 12AM.
