How long has that snow been falling?

Maybe I just haven't stayed on one page for long enough or just haven't paid enough attention, but there are little speckles of snow falling down the screen on every page of the site! Is this something new now that its getting closer to Toy Day, or has this been here way longer and I'm being silly?
