Hey iwas wondering i can record video to my Macbook Pro in either .mov or .mpeg4 right from the wii... i want an easy connecting thing and something cheap then 60 dollars.. anything out there?

If you want anything half decent, don't use a camera... You need direct video which leaves you a few options... For one, you can buy a cord that converts Analog video (the yellow, white, and red cables) to usb so that your TV is effectively replaced by your computer... Good luck finding names and such...

Try a TV tuner card for your PC. You'll have to find one with inputs compatible with the outputs from your Wii. I know many take S-video inputs and I've got a Wii cable for S-video out, so that would handle the video, but you might have to do some cable conversions getting the audio to input to the PC. Many TV tuner cards come with software that will let you record whatever video/audio input runs through it, so there you go. They start as low as $15 and run into the $100's on newegg.com.

There are also "editing and capture" cards or external devices that will do the trick, but you have to read the info carefully to see whether or not they record audio, what video formats you end up with, and check for user reviews to see how well the software works. The consensus is that you get what you pay for.
