How to get blue roses and violet pansies?

Hi! I wanted to get blue roses and violet pansies on my own. I have read two different guides with different combinations, and tried them for a while, but nothing. I have the beautiful town ordinance. How did you get them?

Also, I had two pink tulips near a flowerbed with black roses. I did not water them for a while (didn't want to water the black roses too), but didn't run on them. Today they went missing. Do you know what happened?

They're rather rare, so it's just luck. It's best to breed them on the beach, as villagers will not do anything to those ones. This way you can be sure to get second generation hybrids to breed with.

They probably wilted, once they go a grey/brown colour you have to water them otherwise they'll die. I assume that because you don't want to water the black ones you have a gold can? I kept my silver one as well just to water my black roses with.

Thanks for your reply! The tulips didn't wilt, because of my ordinance (quite terrible if you want gold roses!)
