Hi !
I know this is probably a question frequently asked but I do not know how to do it.

Do you know how to get a villager out of your isle ?
I'd like to get rid of one villager so that one of my favourites can come in my town.

But I don't know what are the real possibilities. I've read that a villager cannot move out if you don't tell him to do so.
But does the technique with Isabelle works ? Or should we just ignore them ?
Thank you very much !
Have a nice day,

i swear the first 2 villagers who asked me to move away were the ones I talked to most. yup.

It seems to be random. Some people get pings from villagers they talk to every day, others get pings from villagers they harass with the net. But what worked for me was talking to the villager only the day they moved in and never again, while talking (a lot) to all my other villagers. Curlos asked to move out after 3 days of being in my town.

Today the first villager to ask to move out was the one I completely ignored. Neither of the ones I hit with my net wanted to leave.

I also wanted to add that the villager that wanted to move out didn't ping me, I talked to them when they had thought bubbles.

I welcomed Chadder, talked to him like any others, he decided to move 2 days after. I mean, wtf ?

Seems to be the best solution : ignoring them !

I think hitting them is still "attention" for them, like, you still have interactions with them, so...yeah !

Ok, thank you ! It's a nice thing that they don't move by themselves anymore...if you want to stop playing for a while, you won't lose your favourite when coming back !

Yesterday Bella asked to move out and she is the one I talk to the most! I'm trying to be nice and talk to everyone at least once everyday.

I try to talk to everyone everyday as well, except the one I aim to move out. But it's not easy !

Btw, reporting them to Isabelle does nothing. It just resets their clothes or catchphrase to default. Ignoring them is the best method! 😊

Do NOT hit them with your net/send mean letters/push them into holes. I think that actual makes them MORE likely to stay since you're paying attention to them... The fastest way is to ignore them and talk to everyone else at least once a day.

If you use an amibo you can choose the one you want to leave. Sometimes though they can randomly decide to go and they'll ask you what you think and you can either ask them to stay or tell them to have a nice trip. I don't think complaining about them to Isabelle, ignoring them, or hitting them with the net work from what I've heard from others.
