How to make the most of your town space?

Any tips? Should I obtain my dreamies, put down paths, the place PWPs? How would you make the most of your town space?

I'd use a lot of paths, and flowers. Maybe a few PWPs to support the paths/flowers.

I think it's best to have a balance of villager homes, paths, flowers, trees, buildings, and PWPs. That way it doesn't feel like your town is being overrun by something.

I placed down paths, and that helped me decide where to put stuff, so definitely do that first

Yep i agree with this, its what i did first. Place down paths and then i can see where i would like things. Then i obtained my dreamies and reset their plots so they dont block my paths or potential pwps like the lighthouse or cafe. Flowers and trees are the last thing ill do probably.

Honestly my town is just a jumbled mess and it probably always will be. I'm going through and deleting pwps that I don't like the location of. I'm also trying to get other bridge designs suggested. So far I have almost all the villagers I want but its easy to put down paths and have groves then see what areas are available and then move what you need for space. I find it difficult for flower and tree placement because I'm always finding better places for things or changing around paths... I just updated my dream town so If you want to go see my town and give feedback or whatever that would be great. It's still a work in progress though and most likely always will be.
