How to post pictures to the forum?

There were two threads that I wanted to post a photo into, but I'm not sure how. Is plugging your SD card into a computer the only way? Or is it just the easiest?

well if its your own photo, the best way is to upload it to a website like imgur.com that will then give you the bb code to use for linking it here or in other forums. you dont have to register to upload photos to imgur, and i'm pretty sure it keeps your photo anonymous re any identifying information in the code.

I just want to chip in by saying that although Imgur and similar sites are your best bet, it is also possible to upload images to this site by clicking the photo icon in the toolbar when leaving a post. However, this will cost you Bells and compress the images quite severely so I'd really not recommend it, though it's there if you just need an easy way to upload.
