How to put ppl in boxes?

Im still pretty new to this game and one of the first campsite villagers i got was Graham! I had him in new leaf and he just messed up my orchard and my park smh. How can i get rid of him so i can finally go and try to find my dreamies?

They have to ask to move out of your town/ island first. Once they're set to leave, they will give you a date that they are moving, and I believe either the day of or the day before that is when they will be in boxes c:

It seems to just be patience. I think you need at least 6 villagers for someone to ask, and it won't be the most recent person to move in. At some point you villagers will have a little thought cloud above their head and when you talk to them they might ask to move out. From what I've seen the people that ask are random, so you would have to be on the lookout
