I invited flurry from a nook miles ticket island and traveled to the next day (i wanted the house storage) but I noticed I haven't seen her or heard about her move? does it take an extra day or two? I've also just met bluebear on an island and was able to invite her too, so I have no clue how to tell after they have said yes.

Has anybody gotten a new villager settled in already and can explain this to me, please?

I invited two villagers, Sherb and Celia and I did time travel back a day to get the Museum to start building and Tom Nook started this whole '3 people are moving in' mission from the announcement start. I think it just takes a few days, but the villagers you invite are definitely 'saved' for those 3 move ins at a later date, since I plotted Sherb and Celia's house down, plus a random move in.
