Welcome! Long time animal crossing player here.
Game tips:
-Talk to all your villagers
-Gather fruit to sell at retail (never sell to Timmy and Tommy, they rip you off)
-Shake trees to gather 100 bells and furniture items (bees can also come out! If this happens run into a store or house)
-Fishing/bug catching at the island is another great way to farm some bells
Forum/Trading tips:
-Always check the persons feedback (Wi-Fi feedback on personal page) to make sure they're good to trade with!
-Always be careful when trading.. Scams do happen!
-Don't spam forums
-Always make sure the trade is fair for you and the other person.
