HELLO!! local neurodivergent transmasc person here because i am hyperfocused on animal crossing!!
i have played all the mainline games. but wild world specifically holds a lot of sentimental value to me!!
i plan on playing that alongside resetting and doing a bit of a 'hard mode' for my ACNH island! i kinda wanna make everything for myself for once.

during the like ""height"" of my playtime, i went to free treasure islands and got everything i needed for free. but not this time!!

i kinda wanna do a lil' diary series here, since i see that's a thing! hope to make a lot of cool pals here and read some fun stuff!!​

Is there a reason Wild World is more sentimental than the other AC games? Unfortunately ACNH was my first mainline AC game (I had played Pocket Camp before that). Since I have missed out on so many great games, I love knowing what people thought of previous games!

wild world was with me through a very upsetting time in my life. i had freshly been uprooted from my home town and moved a state away from all my friends and most of my family. i never felt SO alone before. but wild world made me feel like i had someone to turn to in a place where i had no one outside of family.

pokemon was also one of the big things that helped me through then! it was my first animal crossing game too, i'm pretty sure? games helped me a lot!!

it's super hard to pick just one! but i had static back in my original wild world save. and funnily enough, i just got him again when i booted up my wild world!!

Hi there, and welcome to the forums! Wild World was also my escape. I played the hell out of it in elementary school. I didn’t have any friends and wasn’t too social, so the villagers made me feel respected. I knew the villagers would always be there no matter how much I was bullied in school. The title screen hits me with a wave of nostalgia. I hope you enjoy yourself here.
