Huge question solved. Help me cut down trees to get items!

I have decided what I want!

I will:
a. Cut down all trees
b. Give away all items
c. Make a new person
d. Plant new trees
e. Start fresh with my old characters

Here is the catch. I will be hosting an event

Ok. Onto the question
Should I Delete my file or not
I really like my neighbors, and how my town is set up, and i have a huge catalog, a nice amount of museum collections.

I want to start over for three reasons:

One, I like fresh starts.
Two, I didn't play for a while and i feel like my town is kinda messed up
Three, I get to fill my catalog u p again, along with fish collections! Yay!

I don't want to start over for these reasons:
I have lots of bells
I have a lot of progress
I have a hell of a lot of items
I have a nicely filled catalog
I like how my town is set up
I have many fruit trees
I like some of my neighbors
It would be hard to start everthing over...

Well, If i could, i would just start a new file without deleting anything. Buuuut thats impossible on the wii. Even with an SD card. So tell me your opinions

PS! IF I START OVER I GIVE OUT ALL MY ITEMS FOR FREEEEEEEE

And also, I'd like as many opinions as possible

And I guess if you realllly really wanted to start fresh, you could delete and ask people to hold onto your items/give them away.
