I have Red + Red roses producing Pink roses along with an occasional Black. I also have White + Orange roses producing "special" Reds and Yellows. I am confused on why my red + red are making pinks and why my orange + white are making yellows....both sections are seperate from each other. No whites are near reds and no pinks or yellows are either, so I dont get it. My native flower is Rose just as some side info. Anyone know why this would happen?

If its similar to New Leaf, 'children' of flowers of data attached to them denoting what their parents were, and that effects what children they can produce. You essentially have a pair with data that allows for odd flowers to bloom. I did a lot of testing on this in New Leaf and you'd be surprised what you can get to spawn.
Most of my roses came from nook island so I am thinking that has something to do with it. I am going to run a test with planting seeds now to see if I come across the same thing happening.
The flowers available on your islands cliffs are known as native flowers which are known to not be stable for growing hybrids meaning you could potentially get white roses from two reds. For more accurate results you can use flower seeds.
