When your cross breeding the best watering can to use is the sliver one.

Both the silver & golden can are equal when it comes to crossbreeding since each cover up to 10 spaces. I tried both cans with various results.

The hybrid guide is flawed. In CF it's possible to crossbreed golden roses with other roses to spawn more hybrids (which is why I added this info to the guide). Also, it's better to place flowers diagonally so you have more spaces. Trust me, I'm a pro when it comes to breeding hybrids.
