Has anyone figured out how hybrid breeding works yet? I've been following the exact same approach I had with new leaf but I didn't see any hybrids or even regular flowers spawn next to my patch this morning. I'm thinking that was probably just random but I was wondering if someone had already figured it out? Thank you!
They work exactly the same as they did in New Leaf and previous entries. However, in New Horizons they can spawn as buds that take a day or two to grow. If you get one that is a bud, you can easily check it by digging it up with a shovel to check the tooltip.
