That is not a Venus Fly Trap. >=( That is either Manhandla (albeit one with the heads behind the tree) or more likely a Deku Baba.

considering i'm somewhat new to these forums, having skin changes every once in awhile is surprising, but also nice! do these sort of things happen often or is this the first time, out of curiosity? (sorry if this is a silly question — !)
o-off topic, but i think there would have been a more kinder approach to correct the person of their mistake rather than to seem angry at them about it — ! especially since they commented nicely saying that they liked the skin in the first place..? //// not that i mean to be rude or accuse the both of you, that isn't my intention at all, i'm just speaking my personal opinion so don't mind me —

It's a joke, considering how I'm the resident Legend of Zelda Noob/Addict/Lover.
Also skin changes happen for MAJOR events. The TBT Fair I think gets one, Mario kart 8 got one, Hyrule Warriors obviously got one
P), AC:NL probably got one, I can't remember right now, and I know SSB3DS and SSB Wii U will get a skin change when they're released.

To the above poster,
The lady on the left is the main heroine of the Zelda series. Every single game. Her name is Zelda, and she's the princess of Hyrule. Not to say she's a useless female needing rescuing all the time, not at all. She comes from the era of gaming where Samus Aran came from, the one where females can be strong, leadership-based characters. While she does end up kidnapped most of the time, she usually plays her part by the end of the game.
In the middle you have Darunia. Darunia first made his debut in Ocarina of Time (N64) as the king of the Gorons and one of the Seven Sages. That all means nothing to you, but the Gorons are a race of cave-digging/dwelling creatures that eat rocks and precious gems. They're known for loving to roll down hills, eat and grow Bombs, and are generally very friendly.
As for the plant, I do believe that is some kind of Baba from Twilight Princess. I never finished the game, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what kind. They're generally vicious plants that lunge for you in an attempt to eat you. So, essentially they're people-eating venus fly traps.
