Congrats on your blue rose! I caved and got some island orange roses (back when they had the hybrid islands that could help get the tough hybrids) from my brother. It still took me weeks before I saw my first blue. I have respect for those who can push through the long path.

Honestly that still took a lot of work and patience. Good job on getting your blue roses!!

Congrats and welcome to the club! I too was stubborn and didn’t trade for it (nothing wrong with trading for them, since it takes a lot of patience). It really is a big achievement in my books and something that you should be proud of .

Now, if I could only get those darn blue pansies to grow lol.
