Hopefully they fixed the horrible stearing controls in the 64 version.
the steering wasn't that bad... but its around the sameish, but better.
Yeah, it wasn't too bad, but when you have something like Mario kart to compare it to, the steering was horrible. Especially the hover craft.

I played it at Target yesterday. The game looks fun but I would need to know what sets it apart from Mario Kart before I would buy it.

Theres tons of stuff...

First of all, its a Rare game. That means awesomeness already.

Besides that, theres a track editor, and an actual storyline (sort of). It's got 6 player multiplayer mode...

I dunno', theres more.

The items arn't random, you pick up a balloon and the color is set for one item that you get. If you get a blue balloon (boost) and then get another one, you will have a bigger boost. You can upgrade your items by getting more of the same color type. (max of 3)

there are also boss races, an overworld type thing to explore, the game can be customized a lot (you can record your own sounds, change the billboards ingame, change your car's color, and a lot more)

Sounds cool. I'm a huge customization freak.

YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE HOVERCRAFT.
Anyway, FC?

I actually can get the hovercraft to control sorta good, you just have to know how to work it right...

I've had it for a while. It's great. Since the day it came out, in fact. the steering is tons better than in MK64, loads better the orriginal, quite a bit better than MKDS's, (with the possible exception of the hovercraft) and a blast to play.

Items not being random makes it tons more fair, and thus, more fun.

Oh, yes, online play is great. Battle mode, Wish Races, All the tracks, fully enabled, nothing left out.

Oh, and have 6 icon slots to use before you have to overwrite old ones.
