It's just even zanier and crazier than I thought it would be, and for all you doubters, it totally rocks. Not only is it one of the best DS games currently available, but it'll last you a long time, too. Trying to get that perfect "S" score is uberly hard even on the easiest difficulty... And there are FIVE DIFFERENT DIFFICULTY LEVELS!

Have you gotten the game yet? Which song is your favorite? I like Y.M.C.A. the best thus far, although I've barely advanced through the game.

I thought it was boring but I shouldn't judge a game by the name.
No, no, no, and no.

This game is the opposite of boring. I thought it was a wierd and idiotic attempt at a videogame the first time I heard about it, but now I adore the game and actually hope it turns into a franchise now.

>.< It sounds fun, but it is just a small title, and I need to save for Wii games...

I have the first impression as you did, Bul, but I'm not saying it's a bad game now

:p

I'm having a tough time figuring out what to make of it. But you know your video games, Bul, so I'll trust you.

If EBA doesn't sell well, it will become somewhat of an... Earthbound, where the first game in the series (in this case, the second game in the series) came out in the US, but due to bad sales, the rest of the series was Japan-exclusive. I REALLY hope this doesn't happen with EBA and it goes on to become a franchise. It's really worthy of a franchise.

@ Koehler - It does look crazy, and frankly, my very first impression of it was "what the HECK is that?! That looks boring, uninteresting, and awful; it'll never sell!" Boy, was I wrong. I highly recommend EBA.

I got that last Saturday. My Costco broke the release date early!

Dang, I must agree. That game is so stupidly fun. Plus, it's got some great songs, such as my personal favorites; September and the YMCA. Plus, the difficulty will keep me at it for a while. CURSE YOU Jumpin' Jack Flash on Breezin!

Heck, my mom, who is usually anti-video game, picked it up and played it. And liked it!

Ah, another Elite Beat Agent!

:p

YMCA and September are actually my favorite songs as well. I like all the disco songs in the game, actually, as they work the best with the overall feel and formula of the game.

I actually STILL can't finish the last course on Breezin'... And that's supposed to be the easiest mode!

Oops. My mistake. I beat it on Breezin'. I'm stuck on the Crusin' Finale.

:p . But it gave me lots ot trouble there.

And one more reason it's so awesome: In YMCA, the Agents do the YMCA in the chorus. ...and there's giant kitties....and...Agents....ARE....GOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Dang, I love that game. In case you didn't know, you can skip right to Jumpin' Jack Flash in the finale by clicking on the eye-alien thing. You don't have to go through....oh...I forget the name...but anyway. Fun stuff...fun stuff.

Bul...you lucky person. I want it so badly, but my parents are making me wait for christmas, since they were kind enough to let me get the wii before christmas, y'know.

EDIT: Try to post a video of your gameplay!

congrats. hows the game?
Absolutely wonderful. One of the, if not THE best, DS game currently out.

...Although I have yet to play Yoshi's Island DS, which I should get in 2 days.

Off the top of my head, the list is...

Walkie Talkie Man
Makes No Difference
I Was Born To Love You
Rock This Town
Highway Star
YMCA
Material Girl
Let's Dance
Canned Heat
September
The Anthem
You're the Inspiration
Without a Fight
Jumpin' Jack Flash

I missed some there, I think

There's 3 bonus songs too.
Believe
ABC
Survivor

This is litteraly the best DS game made, ever. EVER. Even when I walked into EB games yesterday (which, by the way, DIDNT have the Wii there to play...

:( ) I put the game on the counter and this was excactly how it went:

Guy at the counter: "Good choice"
Me: "Thanks,..."
Guy at the counter: "You played this game before?"
Me: "No, but I've seen tons of videos and read a lot of reviews"
Guy at the counter: "They havent made a handheld game better than this, enjoy"

Ugh.. I thought this looked like crap. But, it seems a lot of people are really liking it.. I might pick it up.

EDIT: It has Walkie-talkie Man?

He's fat and he don't run too fast.. but he's faster than me
