I don't know if I'm entitled to post this, but I thought of an idea for the forums and I don't know if it's possible or not, and I'd like to ask the admins about it. So, say I'm looking for a thread on TBT Marketplace to buy some items or something like that. The default arrangement is "Last Post Time" (the last post can be by the creator or anyone else in the thread.) If the creator of the thread is offline, and you put a post on the thread or something, I've found you have to wait a day or two, which is perfectly fine! But... I'm wondering if there's a way for the admins to put in an option for "Last Creator Post Time" so that way the creator is more likely to be online and therefore more convenient for both the thread creator and the other poster. Thanks for reading! :) By the way the site is great as it is, but I just thought of this and was wondering if it was possible?

There is thread start date in the advanced search but that's still not what you're wanting, is it? :p

This site doesn't really get much in the way of updates other than for events and whatnot, but it's worth a shot.

I use the Thread Start Time thing but there are some users who have very active shops or cycling threads that have been around for a while and it eliminates them as an option.

Fair enough.

I don't think what you're asking for is possible by forum software

There's no reason why it can't be possible but probably just hasn't been implemented by anyone. I'm not going to do a whole bunch of Googling on the subject. :p

A thought I had was an option to get notifications similar to that of a PM/VM when someone replies to your thread or your post on someone else's thread

If you subscribe to a thread by clicking 'Thread Tools' and Subscribe, then 'Notify me through my control panel,' every time you click settings you'll see all the responses on subscribed thread.
