I have a question..

I have an island on my current switch, and I don't want to lose the items I have. However, I was planning to restart it anyway.
If I were to get a second switch and use the same profile to make a new island, would a second player from my first island/switch be able to visit so I could bring the new items to my new island?

You can always have someone you trust hold the items for you. I’m sure someone on the forum will help you out with this!

Hi! Unfortunately you would need two Switch consoles, two games and two accounts.

Sometimes people on the forum will be willing to hold your items for you, and if you'd like to try that, you could post a thread in this section.

Thank you for offering! I'm not planning to restart super soon (don't have a lot of time lately due to work), and I have some people irl who I think would be ok with letting me drop some stuff at their island (one of them has it mostly empty bc they don't really play it) but if they can't help me out when I'm ready I'll definitely keep you in mind c:

ps: i have two islands and one of them i never play on at all. it has space if i move stuff which is no prob.
