I'm still pretty new here, so I apologize if there is a suggestion thread, but I kinda have a suggestion.

Do you think we could have it to when we get a notification, on top of just a white number with how many notifications we have pop up next to it, the notification bar could be highlighted yellow or something as well? The tiny number can be very hard to miss, as I did so today.

l wish my email can let me know if someone sent me a message so l don't always have to check on here.
I'm going to see if there is a setting that l can have my email tell me if someone sended me a vm or pm.

just checked and it turns out you can only get email about pm not vm which is dumb.

I get posts to my cycling thread sent to my email, which alerts my phone about 10 minutes later.

Pardon my slowness, but what do you mean by non-uniformity (I've never heard the term, sorry).

It won't match the rest of the forum, that's all that means.
I would like a pop up or drop down or something!
