I have amazing luck! Too bad I don’t paticularly care.

Redd has visited my island 7 times so far. Idk how either. I do time travel sometimes so I guess that may be the reason why.

I got art from him 6 times. One time I ignored him because I was literally too lazy to pull out my ladder and climb down the cliff and I don’t particularly care for Redd or the art. When I found out everyone here values them, I started visiting him every time afterwards.

Every time I got art from Redd, they were real. All six art pieces. I have no idea why, but I seem to have this weird knack of knowing which ones are real... and no, I’m not even into classical art, nor do I look at the real vs fake guides! I don’t know how to explain it, the ones I suspected were fake seemed to be manipulated with somehow. Like, something about them seemed to have something out-of-place about their whole composition... something that looked like it didn’t belong. Then again, I wasn’t entirely sure about their authenticity, and I don’t want to look at the guides because it would ruin the fun.

Anyway, Redd sent me a random bonus painting in the mail when I purchased 5 paintings from him. The bonus painting ended up being the only fake I have ever gotten. The other 5, including an additional one I purchased yesterday, all ended up being real.

I also have (unfortunately) amazing luck with fish. I honestly wish my overall luck with this game was worse, because it would make things more fun and challenging. Also, it wouldn’t feel like I was wasting all my life’s luck on a video game when I could be getting luck in real life. I’m kind of an unfortunate person in real life.... it sucks. :/

Sorry if this ended up sounding like a pointless flex. But does anyone else seem to have amazing luck when it comes to an element of the game you just don’t care much about?

EDIT: I forgot to mention I actually have awful luck with villager photos, which is a part of the game I care about a lot! Flo is my oldest villager and I still haven’t gotten her photo. My other oldest villager was Buck and he moved out before I even got his.

Wow I’ve only had Redd three times on my island so far, (only two if you don’t count the mandatory visit) and each time only had one real piece of art.

Still haven’t gotten any art through the mail yet at all, so yeah your luck has been amazing.

i tend to have amazing luck at catching things so it takes the fun out of hunting and hoping it'll be "the bug/fish" i need. seriously only took me three days to catch everything in june and i didn't TT (i only TT once after i had caught everything to help someone get a villager i had a amiibo of) i don't think i'll TT again as it's alot of work and i still have a non-amiibo i'm saving for my friend so i don't wanna lose em. but turnips dear lord dose my luck blow i always have to buy at 100 plus, then timmy and tommy never go above 70 =( and my luck on getting gulliver or redd to show is null lolz but it happens.

Oh. I forgot to share with you my worst bit of luck, so I can cancel out that flex I did up there.

I bought 50 dollars worth of Amiibo cards off of eBay (including Rodeo, my baby...) and I lost them all a week later. I can’t find them anywhere in my house, so I’m assuming they got thrown in the garbage by accident. I was so upset that I didn’t play New Horizons for 4 days after discovering I lost them.

i’ve gotten lucky with the june fish, but in the most annoying possible way...i’ve found 4 arapaimas without bait, but i’m still missing all but one of the other new river/pond fish ://

i never have to use bait...i only used it to do cj's challenge thing when he showed up cuz i didn't feel like walking up and down the river. dang i'm sorry. good thing is you still have tons of time left.

dang =( i'm sorry. hopefully they just got misplaced in the house(ya know that weird void in everyone's house where once you forget about them they pop up in the most random place like weeks/years later even though you checked that very spot 20 times and even took pics to prove it...no joke had this happen to me with my big hero 6 tin lunch box full of my yokai watch coins...like it's hard to miss and it was by my bed and i had pics a day before of that spot with no lunch box just a dog laying beside the empty spot. freaked me out but i was also super happy. i imagen this is also the same void where socks go.).

Your luck is insane! I haven't even gotten Redd once to my island. Most of the time I go to my friend's island to see Redd, but I can only buy fake art since they already bought all the real ones

Let's trade luck XD Redd has visited me about two times I believe. While Flick on the other hand has ghosted me LOL. It's like he packed his bags and moved to a whole different AC game. I agree with your first statement, especially since he more or less shows up twice a month. Your second however, I mean, we also don't have talking animal neighbors in real life, so there's that.
