Each AM hourly song and its PM counterpart in ACNH sound similar to each other, but with the opposite vibes.

For instance, 12 PM and 12 AM essentially have the same tune, but the way they’re played highlights big differences. 12 PM is active and lively, but 12 AM is calm and relaxing.
 
This wasn’t the first game to do this. The GameCube version had this for the 7 AM and 7 PM songs, which were the same tune, but one sounds like a new day is beginning, and the other sounds like the day is ending.

I never realized it, but now that I think about it, they really do sound similar.
 
I’ve been listening to this soundtrack too much and just now I can picture the similarities in my mind. Jeez.
 
interesting....really tells you how unmemborable and uncompelling to me the acnh music is, bc i feel like patterns like this were so noticeable to me in previous games 😂 RIP!
