Lies D;

are you sure it didnt say " moves out" ? that just does not sound right. well at the very least from mistakes like this we learn something.

7.Time travel 4 days into the future from the day your 9th villager moves in. Trust me. After a 9th villager moves in, you can skip a few days simply because the game never moves a villager out within 4-5 days after one just moved in.

Thats what it said ._.

Well that sounds like lies really, I mean if they either could have pinged you during that time or just moving out randomly they could very well do this. I believe they can ping/move earlier if you are unlucky with the rng...

If a villager wants to move out before someone moves in, they can still leave after someone has moved in, unfortunately. Sorry for your loss </3

I'm sorry to hear that.. ;-;
It always sucks when a loved villager moves out.. :(

I hate that. I lost Curlos (Admittedly one of my favorites) due to being inactive. I wish there was a way to keep them even if you cant play every day.

There actually IS a way, but it involves knowing when you're going to be inactive. I use the trick all the time when I know I'm not going to want to play or will be too busy.

If a villager pings you to move out, say no. Once you shut off your game, you can stop playing for any amount of time and not lose a villager. (Just make sure you do NOT load up any other characters in your town or else you'll have to wait to get a move-out ping all over again. Once you save quit, don't start your game at all until you're ready to come back from your break)

Just be sure to talk to ALL of your villagers whenever you play again after you take a break so they get the 'where have you been' dialogues out of the way. When I started up a town I hadn't played in a month, one of my villagers told me that Phil was thinking of moving, but he wouldn't ping at all. Turns out it was because I hadn't talked to him and gotten his 'you've been gone a while' dialogue.

It's pretty simple, but you gotta rely a bit on luck that a villager will ask to move the day you want to stop playing. Usually I prepare a few extra days in case I don't get any pings before I want a break.

The problem with that though is, sometimes you just randomly stop. It sucks that you've gotta plan when you take a break.
