Im ade this one because I started think about how Macs are most of the time, getting the short end of the stick when it comes to gaming.

I'm being serious.

Mac's aren't that bad from a working standpoint. If the computer is being used for Adobe/Autodesk applications and other programs such as Zbrush, then they're actually quite better than a windows platform for the sheer matter of the windows having a proper size and aspect ratio as well as proper gamma. Actually, that's one of the reasons macs are considered useful by the artistic community, because of the monitor being a certain kind of screen that allows one to view gamma between the operating systems norms. More recent macbooks have been fitted with this screen.

Now, I have a windows based desktop with this 'special' monitor on it as well, fully professionally calibrated. It's still a wonderful addition, but the price has been and always will be steep, sitting at around fifteen hundred USD for one screen. I'm not going to say macbooks are better than windows laptops/desktops because at the heart of it all they're not. I've never used a Mac Desktop so I can't speak for them.

On the flip side, you have the gaming community. Macs ARE getting quite a bit now in the way of video games, however most of the games that you would want to play on it are windows only. The only way to fix that is an in-OS virtual platform (how I run mIRC on my laptop.) this requires that you have spare ram to dedicate to the system, which can really be a fluke if you're trying to do something in safari, or something memory intensive such as Autodesk MAYA or Photoshop. They're both known for eating ram like candy.

I think that most of the 'raeg' that comes to OSX owners is gamers that instead of educating themselves on what makes an OS proper for certain people, decide to put it down when they have no use for the practical applications of the operating system. Yes, you can use Photoshop/maya on a windows computer, but no, it will never come out the same as it would on a mac because of the programs basis for programing, just as games will never run as well on a macbook as they would on a windows OS. Even then there's always the glitches between systems.

Tl;dr: Check yo'self before you wreck yo'self

Edit: Btw I lold at the comic.
