Apparently New Leaf doesn't have them, which is too bad because I really loved making silly stuff in the sky back in ACWW. Does anyone else miss this?

Glad to see someone mention it. Yeah, the constellations were pretty nice to have. It's a shame they aren't in New Leaf

Prior to New Leafs release consolations were by far the stupidest and most useless feature ever in the animal crossing series. Now that they're gone however...I kinda miss them...attempting to make a triforce in the sky and the big dipper. ;_;

I used to always make a triforce and a big dipper in my sky D=
I miss and don't miss constellations. I miss them because I actually liked making my own constellations but I don't miss them because I really really like the stars in New Leaf.

While I like the new stars, I kinda miss making constellations and seeing them change with the seasons. Looks like I'm not the only one who made the Triforce constellation. :)

Yeah, I do miss them. I remember making 'Spilt Wine' constellation and my sister said she liked it.
Her 'Spiral' constellation appeared in my town and I loved it.

I miss it... Even if it is a small feature.

I don't miss them at all, personally, as they were hard to work with in Wild World and I never really got up to making something nice I liked permanently placed in my night sky.

I'm not surprised they didn't bring them back as the sky was a dominant visual feature exclusively of Wild World. It makes sense that they would keep it exclusive to the one game that dedicates a screen to that view.

If they'd had brought it back with more functionality and the ability to better make something that isn't just a square or the big dipper, I'd be a lot more interested in it; I just think it would need a lot of improving first.

Meh. The constellations were okay. But I never remembered to make any anyway, and it would always drive me insane because the constellations were always just slightly off because the stars werent in the best places... I think I would rather have amazing looking stars than crap looking stars with an extra feature I didnt use. I kinda sound greedy i know :(

It's not exclusive. City Folk had constellations too.

I apologize, I didn't like City Folk and did not play it in-depth. I also honestly do have trouble with imagining City Folk as its own game entirely given its incredible similarity to Wild World, at least in comparison to the massive new material New Leaf introduced.

I do stand by my opinion, though, I don't find them necessary for New Leaf among the massive influx of new features.

Damn, I forgot that they even existed...

NOW I miss them! Thanks a lot! They were quite fun to play around with in the past.

Don't we all? But what would be even better would be...

YOUR FACE ON THE MOON

or your, own deisgn, whatever

Hahaha, now, there's an interesting idea.

Anyway, yeah, I do miss the constellations, but, honestly, seeing how beautiful the night sky is in New Leaf, I probably wouldn't make any constellations anyway.

I was kind of sad when I opened up the second floor to find out that I couldn't make them. I mean, I do like the special museum furniture and the ability to make your own exhibits, but it was always cool to make them and see all the stars in the sky later. <3

Personally don't miss them, it always drove me nuts that i'd get my friends constellations when I visited their towns (which were pretty bad I may add) The new stars are so much more colorful and pretty, less clutter.
