My mother and I were out shopping and I convinced her to let me go to EB Games, and they had the Wii set up! I was like "whoa I didn't know they had this up" I found out that they set them up just today. But there was no controler, so I asked the guy and he said you have to have a parents that has an ID with them, so I got my mom to do it and the guy gave me the controler I went over and it connected I got to say I rate the Wii 5/10 reasons why:

1. - The size is unbearable, my hand is like bigger than the whole thing and the controler is so tiny, like a 6th year old could maybe play it.

2. - Movement is crazy you have to said back to get it to work, and the cursor thing moves a little too fast. I was playing a racing game where you hold is sideways IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! I the turning was sooo bad I quit playing.

3 - Troubleshooting, it's retarted before I got to play the guy had to restart the Wii becuase the control wouldn't connect to the Wii, it wasn't just the controler because he tryed two other ones.

Don't now think I'm saying bad things because I hate Nintendo, I DON'T I've been counting down the days till Wii I was so exicted, but I have to say it was a little disapointing.

Now I've gone back again to test the Wii, now here's my fixed my review:

1. - The size just took me by suprise I think it's good, I now thing they need to make different size controlers for people with different hand sizes.

2. - Movement is fine, I was moving the Wiimote wrong that's why the game wasn't working, I was steering the Wiimote horazontaly not vertically, lol.

3. - Troubleshooting, it's just becuase the guy at the store were retarted.

I have pictures but storm won't let me posty, MSN me if you want to see.

Actually, I can explain why you had a bad experience.

Nintendo has been shipping the Wii to retailers but forgetting to give them the proper security authentication. That was a day ago. Today, they finally got the security handled, but the employees still didn't figure out how to use everything correctly. That explains why you had to stand away from the Wii itself (they didn't put the sensor bar correctly yet), the turning was bad in Excite Truck because the employees didn't adjust the sensitivity yet, etc...

Trusting a store display for the Wii is like trusting the store display for the DS, you know, the one with scratches on both screens, and every button broken out.

I really don't understand in-store displays anymore... they just make you think every game sucks.

by the way, get a spellchecker...

The remote is suppose to small, it shouldn't be uncomfortable though... you probably would have to get used to it.

I posted this on NSIDER, well I hope your right I hope the're better out of the stores, I'm still getting one for TP.

The store must not have set it up very good, because Nintendo would not develop something that is only suitable for only some people.

:p

They probably didn't set up that Bluetooth motion-sensor bar thingie right.

and the cursor thing moves a little too fast.

It should only move as fast as your hand does...

I'm still getting one for TP.

You could get the one coming out on the Gamecube, since you don't really seem to favor the Wii very much.

I like barley moved my hand and the cursor was at the other end of the screen. I think I was too close that's why.

That game displays at a video game store are horrible. You will have to buy the wii to have the real expirence.Or freeze your self 500 years to the future.

Lucky.

:p I'm probably gonna get one for Christmas, hopefully. Hopefully it's as good as it looks.

I just went to my local EB Games and after my mom gave them her ID, i got to play the Wii too!! Even though I only got to play Excite Truck, I found myself wanting a game I didn't care about before. The wiimote was a little sensitive, but the learning curve was about 10 minutes before I really got the hang of it. I had to go before I could ask about other games, but I think I'll be back there soon.

I'm goin' to the mall tommorow to get my dad a birthday present, and theres an EB games there so I'll have to check it out. I hope its not dissapointing!

I've edited my review, check it out.

That stinks Darth, you have to have you or your parents drivers lisence to check out the controler, to avoid stealers.

XD, I saw th pictures on Zelda Oracles. And...holy crap...I thought the system would be bigger! It's like the size of a big book! :gyroiddoh:

So don't say I don't favor the wii
I'm sorry if I offended you... I was just assuming 5/10 wasn't a very good score.

:(

However, I just now read your edited review.

It's approximately the size of three DVD cases stacked on top of each other, you know. But, even knowing that, it's still surprisingly diminutive compared to other systems.
