...yeah I couldn't think of a better title, but I'm just wondering about something.

Not too long ago I went to Nintendo World in New York. I went up to the cashier in the upstairs. Our conversation basically played out like this.

Me: Hey do you have any Animal Crossing stuff?

Cashier: Sadly no, but look what I have! [shows me his 3DS XL with Animal Crossing New Leaf]

Me: Oh...My...God, how long have you been playing?!

Cashier: A couple weeks.

Me: Oh okay, I'm just gonna look around now, thanks.

I thought that only bloggers and reviewers got to participate in the Mayor's program, not random cashiers that just happen to work at Nintendo World. How does this work?

Maybe he's a blogger/reviewer.

EDIT: Fairy godmother, ninja'd.

I think you may have answered your own question. They've given out quite a few copies so it wouldn't surprise me if that included people who can help sell the game at the store.

Maybe that's just a second job? You do know people can work more than one job at a time, right? XD like the doctor down the street can also be a part time chef, etc etc you get my drfit

More importantly: what type of cushy job lets you play Animal Crossing while you're working? Seriously wish I could have done that when I was a cashier. :p
