Wisp surprised me by showing up in my town last Thursday. The date is set correctly and everything, so I don't know what was up with that.

I've yet to run into Phineas or Resetti in the city though... I think they're hiding from me!

He's basically a ghost that will grant you wishes if you find him and give him his lamp back, which'll be lying around your town somewhere. Wisp appears on some nights between midnight and 2am or something like that and he's invisible until you physically bump into him. If you find him and give him his lamp, he'll grant you 3 wishes, either weeding your entire town, giving you a piece of furniture or giving you a piece of clothing.

Both times I met him, I found his lamp earlier in the day

So if you see his lamp just lying around, it's a good indicator that he'll be there that night!

Wierd...I was running all over on Monday, and never found his lamp, only after I stumbled upon him, I found it by the beach.
