I wanna start a gameshow.

But, I have no idea of how to start one, and how to encourage people to participate. I tried this on ACC, got people to sign up, but problem is, they never showed up. Or replied to the thread... I mean, I set up an extra house themed just for it, but were the prizes not great enough? I thought people would like streetpass items for rewards... oh well. I guess not. Or was the game not clear enough? I had 3 people guessing (with little buzzers to boot) what I was thinking, with K.K.'s song, Pondering playing while they tried to guess.

Here's what the house looks like. (Using my secondary character, I had to take 3 chairs out.)

So, do you think this idea is good or just plain terrible?

It's cool but the prizes should extend to DLC. Someone here on TBT made an AMAZING one, what with the spinning wheels and trivia with the categories on the walls. The prizes had nonreorderable DLC and money. She even let us roam the town with her AMAZING town as well.

I remember that... We were both there! Oh, and I think you would definitely have success with a gameshow here.

I think a most pieces in a reorderable set or a few pieces in a non-reorderable set would be a nice prize

A gameshow seems like a really good idea. I'd like street pass items, but DLC and maybe bells would be nice prizes too. I'd also love to compete in one of your gameshows!

I have Campus DLC and some of the DLC that is no longer available. I also believe I have access to some rare items. Also, when you do this gameshow. Be sure to count me in.

Not sure if discussion on "magic" (or so to be subtle, anyways) with items is banned, but if you want, can we be like magicians and you know, make the items "breed like rabbits"? (Sorry for the vague wording, don't wanna get in trouble with mods... the word rhymes with "booping") I'm not sure if people want the 7/11 anymore, since it's the "most magical" item that "magicians" handle. (Ugh, sorry, ACC has gotten me like this, with the banned discussion of it entirely.)

I don't believe that discussion is prohibited here, but I will review the rules to check. However, I am welcome to buy a lot of DLC items for your gameshow free of charge (Although, I really would like some dough for my work). I do not want to try what you are refering to because I heard that it "put's a curse on your data".

I don't have much, but will about 500k bells be good? Also, I only heard that bad things happened to people who did it locally, and I'll be the one doing the tricks, so you're pretty much safe from pretty much any type of harm that could be done to your game.

Okay then, I will get the DLC ready. However, I only have orderable DLC and all of them (except the campus furniture) are ones that you could get from the post office but are no longer available. I doubt that all people are going to go for that DLC unless they bought the game late or they had all the DLC so far but their data got corrupted or something, but I will still supply you with the DLC anyway. Also, I will be supplying you with balloons since they are hard to come by unless you streetpass with the same person often. I might also give you some rare items or items that can be hard to get like the fortune cookie nintendo items.

Thanks. We need to schedule this out though. It would be nice to do this today, as I pretty much plan to get Pokemon X tomorrow and play it all day.
