I was very disappointed with the fish model I got until...

So, I have a fish/ocean themed room and the walls were kinda bare. Then I saw that the butterfly-fish model was a wall item and it was perfect! So yesterday when CJ came to town I made sure to catch 3 butterfly fish and get that model!

...However, when the butterfly fish model arrived, it was just a regular model to put on a table. I was so confused! Then I looked it up and found out that there are two different items, the butterfly fish model (no dash) that you get from CJ, and the butterfly-fish model (with a dash) which is a regular catalogable furniture item. So I was pretty disappointed that I went through all that effort to get a fish model when it wasn't even what I wanted, and I went about my animal crossing day.

Then I shook a tree and the butterfly-fish model fell out!

I was really confused when cataloging my wall-butterfly fish item, which I got first.

I got the Big Mouth Billy Bass Mounted Black Bass the other day which is awesome. And the grasshopper head model which is terrifying.

The grasshopper head model is terrifying! I have no idea what they were thinking with that one. Although, it has followed me through a town reset because it just grew on me. It is strange enough to stand out!

They should have made the wall mounted fish items/bug heads what you get from giving CJ the fish, or at least tourney prizes. I gave CJ 3 marlin and 3 colelacanths thinking they'd be big wall-mounted fixtures...

I wish there was a way to display wall-mounted items outside because the grasshopper head would be really cool in a creepy town. Still cool inside but not quite the same.

the wall mounted butterflyfish thingy is very nice... as i said in a previous post, cj needs to fire flick, he does a lousy job on fish... the oarfish is horrible.

I got confused when a butterfly fish model came from the tree at, I thought it was the model from flick, but it was a hanging model. The coelacanth model is also disappointing because it’s not as big as the oarfish model and it’s not as larger than the atlas moth model which is 2x2.
