Resident Night Mare
Last night's meteor shower added a few new items to my catalog. Between the four characters, I got a Rococo Wardrobe (which is currently being refinished in Gothic White), a zero lamp (traded to Shari for a modern wood chair), a King (sold), and a vintage radio (saving to go in Flint's book store). Of course, each of the minor characters dropped the item so it registers in Emerald's catalog. Easiest way to be able to re-order items.
Lolly sent me a gift for visiting her yesterday. I sent something as a thank you, as well, so later this morning, she sent me another gift. Yep, gotta love those Normals.
Keaton sent a sweet letter, too.

Even though he's an eagle and not a frog, I've got "The Rainbow Connection" stuck in my head now.
My new back room was constructed, and of course Purrl ambushed me into a visit before I'd been able to put anything other than wallpaper and carpet in there (sky wall and cloud floor). Snide comments, away. Not all of them were aimed at me, however. Every time she saw one of my couches, she said that she hopes I won't be inviting Shari over, because that "little so-and-so is a couch hogger!" Why am I thankful that they live on opposite sides of town?
Rizzo pinged to move out, but I stopped him; I've become resigned to having his house wedged between Emerald and Sapphire, but he's also my only Cranky, so I kind of need him. I might let him go after I get all the PWPs I need from him, get my Perfect Status, and am not terribly concerned with the number of villagers. Of course, with the campsite open, I'll have a chance to entice someone else. Speaking of, Rosie is hanging out today. She's cute, but I don't think I'd want her, even if I had the space.
Not much else going on in town today. I replanted all my flowers last night, lining them up along my designated paths. It'll cut way down on chances for new hybrids, but it's only temporary. Once I can plant bushes (I think sweet olive will look best to the south and holly in the north among the cedar trees), I'll establish flower fields.
My Rococo wardrobe should be about done, so I'm going to go pick that up and maybe have Cyrus refinish the modern wood chair in the simple design. I have several other pieces done that way in my basement, but I think they'd fit in some of the other house themes.
