I wish this would still happen...

Don't get me wrong I not here to complain about update 2.0 and I still wow-ing over the new things and gameplay til now. So so so overwhelmed by at the cuteness of the game! but hey, one can still wish and dream right? Like Celeste said as I wish upon the star, who knows it might come true?

Althought Nintendo had clearly said this gonna be the very last update but I still wish upon these; I wish

• Nook Cranny will be updated to bigger store. Not much, just add another storey with more selection will be (if you notice there is one hidden stair behind Nook Cranny's cashier..)
• Label come back and work with her sis, which mean also an expansion for Able Sister. I feel so sad the Sisters have to be separated. But another side the good news is I gonna make Label stay in my HHP island as well as her sisters so at least they get united there.
• Last but not least, work with Brewster again, not possible to happen but I really do wish to be able to work with him again even mean I just cleaning his cafe for him FOR FREE! I wonder if I can invite him to my HHP? Hmm he deserve that too lol

None of this might not even happen at all but to think about it at least make me feel happy. I am still happily settling up my island! Love this game so much and is so therapeutic for me.

I agree I really wish they would let us upgrade nooks cranny. In new leaf it looked sooo much better on the inside and outside. It just doesn’t look as good with highly upgraded towns in my opinion. I liked having multiple floors and such

The Able Sisters are not separated, they are happier than ever. Label is finally achieving her dream and her relationship with Sable (and Mabel) is very good. She constantly visits the island just to chat with her sisters (and later, to see the player too) and Sable mentions how happy she is to see her happy. The 2.0 update even makes them take a coffee break together if you invite one of them. If Label was forced to come back to sell clothes, the character arcs of the sisters would be derailed- that's why it makes sense that at least for now, Label's not working at the store.

An upgraded Nooks would’ve been an amazing part of the update. Nooks simply does not sell enough, and most of the stuff they stock is garbage. Like…thanks for constantly restocking the unfinished puzzle, picnic basket, baby chair, and cute lamp

I agree about the Nook’s upgrade, it seems odd for this game to only have one easily-achievable store upgrade when it’s predecessor had like 5 upgrades. I’m hoping that’s something they still add in the future, along with Gracie.

i agree with all of this, especially about working with brewster! the roost’s part-time job minigame was one of my favourite things in new leaf, so i was really hoping that it’d make it into new horizons. it was so fun, and i loved not knowing which villagers/npcs would show up for coffee every day.

I really don't think nooks cranny needs an upgrade.

It sells more stock compared to other games due to the cabinet items.
You can buy items from resident services (or the app if you have it)

You have 4 shops on harvs island.

If you get the DLC there are 5 items on display that you can buy each day.

And once unlocked, you can buy basically any item in the game from there.

So right now, we can buy more stuff than ever before.

And I like to think the stairs lead to their home where they chill out after they close the shop.

Edit: forgot to add that with balloons giving items, trees dropping items, wisp giving items, redd when docked selling 2 items, and villagers giving items, items are also easier than ever to come by.

And then add crafting on top of that, so half the items you can get in the game are ones you make yourself with no need to shop.

So yeah, this game is the easiest in the series to get hold of items already.

A shop upgrade feels like it would be done just for the sake of previous games having one.
Not for if the game would receive value from it

I also miss working for brewster specially because it was a opportunity to talk and get to know your villagers, also cute to figure out how they like their drink

I do kindi wish that there wasn't the empty part in the nooks store, in summer we get some items like the surf board or fan etc but it only seems to be summer or during a event like Halloween we get stuff there, would be nice if somthing was there all the time just to give that big 4th item to sell

I'd honestly have hoped they would have given us bulk ordering and crafting in the new update though

I fully agree with Nooks upgrade. There are so many items but with that tiny store, getting lots of them would take forever.
