I'am not sure about using the triangle buttom to close a topic.

I now this is stupid but i can't figure out how to close my tread and how i can change the name of my tread. Can someone help please?

The easiest way to close a thread, if you mean lock, is to report your original post and type "Please close my thread"
Reporting yourself will not get you in trouble, it's just an easy method of letting the moderators know that you are done with that thread.
I think the moderators prefer you to report your thread (by clicking the exclamation point inside a triangle on the bottom left of your posts) than having you change your thread title to "close this thread" or whatever.

Ok, thanks, i now how to change my tread name, but i still can't find the buttom to close a tread.

Us regular members (those of us without blue or red names) cannot close our own threads so please look to the bottom left of your post. You will see a triangle with a ! inside. Click on that an you will be redirected to a text box in which you need to type "Please close my thread" and then send it.

Although it says for it to only be used to report spam, harassment, fighting, or rude posts, it is perfectly acceptable for you to use it to request your thread to be closed. Like Oath said, the mods tell us to report our own threads if we want them closed instead of renaming our threads to "close this thread". It's an unwritten "rule" of the Bell Tree that helps the mods know what needs to be looked at or closed.

I do it any time I need my threads closed, usually the mods take care of it later that day.
