I’m finally getting back into decorating Kumori and I have a TON of space on my island. I’m trying to go with something like…a quiet residential area near all the shops, and then the northern 3/4’s of the island is uncharted/foresty/witchy. So honestly, any suggestions or inspiration offered would be great! I’d also take suggestions for paths and patterns!

Seems we're getting some dead trees without the pumpkins ( furniture ofc but absolutely no complaints here lol. )

A lot of people use statues, fake or real to add ambiance. A graveyard. The update is bringing back the realistic skeleton and what looks like a bone pile with a skull on top. The australopithecus skull is also nice to scatter or place on the DIY smaller bookshelf.

SkeletonTape on Twitter has a lot of black and spooky paths you could check out.

I never noticed this in the update. This is the best news ever!

I would have cedar trees and some of the dead trees, mentioned above. Cedar trees definitely look a lot better than the regular trees, in my opinion. I actually had zero regular trees on my island, and strictly used cedar trees. Those dead trees look amazing. I didn’t notice those from the Direct.

The mush set and the Mario mushroom items would be honestly really great for this. I also think the kettle bathtub DIY looks like a great witch's cauldron. I'm using it for that for my Halloween decorations. I'm using it with a green customized spooky scarecrow next to it, since the green one reminded me of the witch from The Wizard of Oz. If only I could put a witch hat on top of it.

This might be an unpopular opinion for the theme but, paper lanterns I find tend to really add to the atmosphere especially when placed next to cedar trees. They just give a sense of mystery, almost ominous and look great at night. Using them sparingly would look best.

To add to my previous post, the spooky fence would probably work well too in some areas.

I honestly love the cedar trees and have been tempted to switch to just those.

Spooky Trees, Cauldron, Panels that have potion bottles or other things, maybe brooms?, Black Cat designs, crystal ball, candles, magic circle designs?
