Looking For Ideas/patterns for a way to honor my son’s memory

My son who passed away last April was a talented musician(played French horn, trumpet, mellophone, piano); He had a solo in the marching band show from Les Mis and it was beautiful (I’m biased, but it really was); enjoyed the Great Smoky Mountains wildlife (especially black bears and elk); wore flamingo patterned everything; and was a huge fan of The Avengers & Star Wars franchises. Favorite color was purple. I’m wanting to make a memorial area of my island but don’t know how to incorporate or make anything listed above. I would love ideas and examples if anyone else has done something similar, and any patterns you may know of would be awesome.

My condolences to your son.
These are some things you could use:
furniture-wise, theres two types of flamingo furniture, and multiple colour variations of the grand piano, upright piano and street piano.
The flowers available in purple are the hyacinths, windflower, pansies, mums, tulips and roses, you could also use a great purple emperor model

These were a few ideas I could think of:
-Purple flower garden/ forest
-Outdoor orchestra/ outdoor stage
-nature trail
-idk much about avengers or star wars but maybe crafting some of celeste's furniture? Like the crewed spaceship, flying saucer or space shuttle. Or the robot hero/ monster statue to create a climactic scene? Like this one here


I found this qr code of a hibernating bear- in the picture they've customised a simple panel with the design


There's also this walkway by u/mia_blondehaus on reddit made with swinging benches for the bridge bit


I guess mountain areas are kinda hard to recreate in this game, but I found some forest-y/ mountainous landscaping done by @_horriblegaming and @ness.crossing on insta:




Btw if you dont use it already, nookazon is good for looking up/finding furniture

Nookazon is basically a website for trading on acnh, but I also use it to browse through furniture/items
Also you can breed a red and yellow hyacinth together to get an orange hyacinth, then if you breed two orange ones together you get a purple

My recommendation for you would be to simply use the Kiosk in the Able Sisters shop to look for patterns. You can then add these patterns to the customizable furniture and clothing. You'll find a ton of Star Wars and Avengers stuff on there, along with almost anything else you search for.

The search option can be so basic, that you literally get pages of creations ie. Star Wars. Or, say your son's favorite was Yoda, just search for Yoda instead and you'll find a ton of stuff. I did this to make Ewoks fireworks on my island during August

If you do a basic search for say music/trumpet/flamingo/bear (and whatever else you like!) you'll net a bunch of options, and I guarantee you'll be drawn to something that reminds you of him.

Then just save the patterns you like, and start going nuts. Add them to simple panels, chair covers, sign posts, you name it.
I'm sure by the end the part of your island you're dedicating to him will look amazing
