guys im so distressed about this

In my opinion it would make no sense if a Brachiosaurus could not get back up. If that were the case, there would probably be a myriad of adult Brachiosaurus who would have fallen and proceeded to starve to death. I doubt such a detrimental trait like that could evolve in the first place, much less stay around and not be bred out. This is why I'm sure that they would have been able to get up just fine.

Also, a horse that is reasonably healthy can easily get up when there isn't a rider weighing them down. Same with cows by the way.

I'd say a brachiosaurus would be much like a horse or giraffe. Horses can get back up, just not with ease. Since they're so heavy it makes it difficult for them, especially if the weight of the body manages to cut of blood circulation. I'm guessing it would be much the same for a brachiosaurus. The weight of their body must be much greater than their neck and head allowing for them to get up, and surely they'd be able to use their neck and head for stabilisation. After all, their neck would have to be pretty strong for it to be able to keep its posture.

Plus, I'm pretty sure they would've died out a lot quicker if they didn't have the ability to get up and run away from predators. They lived for a few million years so I doubt that was the case. Or as MapleSilver said, they would've starved to death if they couldn't get up!

Science talk right there^

I actually don't think turtles can get back up. I guess it depends on how they fell, but turtles DO die from being flipped over.

I see no reason why a dinosaur with legs capable of supporting itself would not be able to get back up.

They're extinct, aren't they? I believe we have our answer. :p

In all seriousness, I imagine they could. They likely had a way of propping themselves back up. Otherwise they wouldn't have lasted as long as they did.

all of yall are gonna drive my mum INSANE lmaoooo

I'm saying yes they can get back up
those dinosaurs are pretty strong anyways

Going to go with yes. Pretty sure lots of animals can get back up just fine if they fall down.

i mean unless it fell down a cliff or something I'm pretty sure it could get itself up

Yup this was my reasoning too

I don't know why but I just feel like they can't... also this may be out of topic but if a dino falls downs that makes it a pretty easy prey, you know.....

The only dinosaurs that wouldn?t be able to get up are ones such as the t-Rex or allosaurus. Simply because they are so top heavy that if they fell they?d die so wouldn?t be able to get back up again lol.
