You don't have to worry about people ruining your town anyways. You see, you have to add them and they do you, before you can visit eachothers town. So you just can't have totally random people come in.

Ruing people town isn't preferred and it is basicully chopping down trees, running over flowers, whacking vilagers with nets, stuff like that. But people will not like you if you do it and you won't have any friends.
