I know that many forums get ticked off if someone randomly applies, so I wouldn't do that unless one of the admins said they were letting us apply. I'd probably make more long posts, like reviews and such.

Anyways, I wouldn't improve my posting or apply if there were an admin spot open, but I would take on extra responsibility to get it.

I meant, by sucking up, you're kind of saying you want to be staff, which is technically applying.

You can't just be active to be an admin. You have to be hard-working, able to give help, ready to do anything for anyone... If being active was the only way to become an admin, then a LOT of people would be admins.
