If you could add a brand new villager what would they be?

For me it would be a peppy goat. So I could make an island of nothing but goats. I want goat island

What would you add?

If NPCs count, a normal tapir or a cranky fox. I want really fox villagers.

If not NPCs, then a cranky deer. Idk I just like deer.

I'd like more uchi villagers in general. Maybe another uchi squirrel or cat or something. I feel like the pool of sisterly villagers is quite small and I don't like most designs.

It would be nice if each species had every personality represented. The ducks are probably my favorite species that doesn't have all the personalities, so I would say a an uchi duck and a cranky duck.

I would love to have an uchi hamster! Hamsters are my favorite species, and there are so few sisterly villagers compared to the others. An uchi duck would also be lovely to have.

Funnily enough, I feel pretty much exactly the opposite. I like most the sisterly villager designs, but don’t find many of the smug designs to my liking.


The way they divided the species types among the some of the villagers is so odd. There’s 3 sisterly bears (though they are all very unique designs and I wouldn’t want to get rid of them) and 2 sisterly sheep, but so many species not represented at all.

And 4 cranky wolves but no sisterly, lazy, or jock types (even though I don’t like the wolves in ac, they seem particularly unevenly divided among the personalities.)

I'd love a sisterly alligator - they are one of my favorite species. A lazy sheep would be so adorable, as lazy is a personality I really enjoy! I'd imagine his fleece would be a soft shade of blue or purple/pink. I miss sheep villagers wearing scarfs, because it made them look so much like plush dolls~

Bat villagers are my number one want for new species. That said, since OP directed the question to existing species only, I wish there were more dog villagers across the board personality-wise. I also wish we had more smug rabbits.

I'd like a sisterly wolf, so far there aren't many sisterly villagers I like which means I don't often give them a chance as there are too many villagers I like more but wolves are my favourite overall species so I'd love a sisterly wolf to hopefully change my opinion on the personality.

I’d like another jock dog. Mac seems to be the only jock dog and I love Mac as a villager, but I wish we had an additional jock dog.

I would want a sisterly cat based on my cat, Raven. She would be black, with very big, round, gold eyes (they would also be SUPER expressive) She would also have a tooth sticking out of her mouth on the lower left side (Raven only has one canine tooth left, it doesn't stick out, but it'd be super cute- or maybe it'd be like Paula's, that you only see when her mouth opens?). The way I picture her, she would be a SUPER popular villager, 'cause I imagine her so cute. Also, I LOVE sisterly villagers (my top favorite personality) and it fits Raven very well (she can come off as gruff, but in reality is very loving, she is also a fantastic big sister for her little brother, Pumpkin). Also, I LOVE black cats. And Kiki is... cute. But I feel like there needs to be an edgier black cat, because let's face it, with their spooky reputation a low-key normal villager is KINDA disappointing (IMO, at least) I wish I was a better artist so I could draw my idea of her I've tried a few times, but haven't been able to capture her just right yet.

I just want more reptiles. Lizards would suffice. Or give snakes legs.

But it seems they've been trying to keep some of the species exclusive to NPCs. I want skunks, hedgehogs, owls, turtles, raccoons, and giraffes too.

I think it would be cool to have one of each species personality! So if you want an island of one
Species, you dont have to worry about not having one of every personality! Like as said, a sisterly Hamster would be awesome, or a peppy eagle would be fun!

I would like lazy and cranky girls!
I have so many crankies and lazies on my island right now. Ideally I wanted a town with half girls half boys, but so far it’s mainly boys.

Also, I’d like for them to add a koala.
I thought about having an island full of them once, but there’s only 9. I don’t want 9 koalas and 1 random.

I would've loved to see some bat villagers, I've seen concept art for it and they're so cute! they could be noctournal villagers for those who play in late hours.
