Put the sound on mute and play like you'd normally play. See if you can "faintly" hear the sounds. It's your brain messing with you. =D

This happens to me as I read the forum... I don't even own City Folk yet and haven't played Wild World in half a year at least...

On most televisions the sound is never fully muted after you "mute" the tv. There is always a little bit of audio coming out.

You know - I really wish I could just mute the music. It's so annoying. They really should have offered an option between Wild World music, and the GC version. Or NEW MUSIC. The music port is annoying me.

well there probably is a hack of some sort that could mute the music then you could also hook up the gamecube version and play both at once, except with the gamecube one with no video only audio then you have the gamecube music to listen to.

That would not be called a hack....Just mute the TV, buy a extension port for the RED YELLOW WHITE cables, Put in the YELLOW for the Wii. Then put the red and white cables for the GC in the extension port which will let it be on the same time...A easier way would just mute the tv and hook up the cables from the gamecube into a stereo in the back.

No, you plug up all cords for gamecube, start your guy, pull out yellow, put in Wii yellow.

I've been hearing the clicks and noises and music of it, even when I don't play it... :S

He's not one of us! Get him! *Everyone starts to chant. JOIN US NIGEL! JOIN USSSSSSSS!*

Hahahahaha. Not really. Anyways, I usually play my animal crossing real low since my baby sis is sleeping, and I go crazy when the volume is at like 35 where you can hear it loudly at 50. I'm like GRR!! But, that would be weird. o_O I guess that would happen to me, I hear animal crossing everywhere.....xP
