If you play for long periods of time a day and don't time travel, what do you do?

I already caught all the fish available in December and I've already gotten all the bugs. I finished my diving encyclopedia as well. I just need it to be summer now. Basically. What do you guys do daily in the game if you don't tt. I'm really trying not to because I want to finish all the snow men things but it's so hard

wait till tomorrow or get some friends to play with you

I play for "long periods of time" in that I leave my 3DS running almost all the time. I tend to do things in the game parallel to myself irl. When I'm reading, my mayor sits in his reading chair. When I'm watching a show, he's sitting on the couch in front of his TV. When I'm eating a meal, he sits in the dining room. When I'm studying or at uni, he sits at his desk. On an alternate character, I've made my town a Rec Center, which has a gym I put my character in while I'm exercising. I also made a 'grocery store/cafeteria' in the Rec Center out of 7-11 series furniture, which I go to when eating out or shopping...

It's a little weird, I guess, but it amuses me. After I've done my in-game daily 'chores' I just do whatever. Fish a little, talk to villagers, play island games... I rarely grind for bells though. I generally get 50-70k a day just playing normally, selling fossils and whatever bugs/fish I catch naturally. But the way I play AC, I play for like 10 minutes at a time, do something else, a few more minutes, do something else. My 3DS is always in my backpack, so I bring it just about everywhere I go.

I go to the island, make sure nobody leaves, talk to my villagers (especially my next door neighbors) and water plants when I play for long periods.

I usually just dig for fossils/pit falls and talk to all my villagers and buy stuff from the store, like party poppers for this events, bush starts, and fertilizers. I also write letters about non sense to town folks, and work on unlocked/building more public work projects. If there is any events I'll probably do them/some and build a snowman for this season

I talk to my villagers, find my fossils/Bell rock/gem rock, water my flowers, write letters, build my snowman, go shopping.

Write letters, do villager chores, do some shopping, redecorate my house, work towards getting my badges (the balloon one was great cause I was walking up and down my whole town trying to see if another balloon had spawned).

I also pick up and put down the game a lot. So whilst I play quite a lot every day, the actual total playing time is maybe 2-3 hours. I visit the island and fish/bug hunt. I also look at getting my PWPs done. And when all that fails, I just go fishing, it relaxes me.

i wish i could have my DS in bed o_O my town makes me feel better.. i feel like as mayor and as game owner i am their guardian

If I'm playing for a long amount of time, I'm usually planting trees and flowers (if it's a new town - because that takes a long time) or I go play games on the island.

A second copy helps a lot! I don't TT or cheat or anything in my main town, but on my second copy I just do whatever I want!

I work on all of my badges, a little bit each day. Between writing to all of my villagers, earning a bunch of medals, catching a few dozen bugs, fish, and sea creatures and popping a few balloons...

I end up spending hours playing every day without even realizing it! XD

One of my favorite things about having a second copy is because of this. I'll be the first to admit that I have a TTing problem, but I'm trying to cut back on that. My second town (which will be reset on 1/1) won't be TTed at all (unless it's for plot resetting), and that's when I go to my villager chores. The bare minimum is to talk to my villagers and make sure no one wants to leave, then dig up all of the fossils and gyroids and do the money rocks. That's all I usually get to, but when I play for a long period of time, I collect all of the shells, fruits, and money/furniture from trees and water all of my hybrids for breeding. Then I run errands. I don't really grind for bells because I still have 18 million in my bank from selling BTB.

Sit in my house and listen to my music players, contemplate new path/pwp ideas, stare at my kitchen and wonder what else I could put in it.

After I do my daily chores I will hunt bugs and fish to gain some more bells (because who says that more bells can hurt?) Or I will look for cute PWP designs to place in my town. If I get bored I will visit some DA's for inspiration and take screen-shots of the areas that look cute so I can add that cute idea into my town. Soon after that I will play around on the island for a while with some friends (or visit Club Tortimers Island). So yah, thats what I basically do if I run out of stuff to do on ACNL.

Beetle farm like mad. Like seriously I will beetle farm from 5-11 and just keep making trips back home to sell and keep going back to the island, fill up my box, do it all over.

If you need pwp still, do the diving trick to get villlagers to request something.

I used to re-arrange my flowers and town all the time, that used to take up a lot of time. :p

I forgot to add, you can always design your own Pro Designs. I did a sweater a day for Christmas until I had 8 sweaters - coming up with the designs and making them happen took me a couple of hours a day so that was a great way to spend the time :)

After the mayor check in with all the villagers I switch to one of my extra players. It's relaxing not playing as the mayor.
Player 3 is the fun girl that comes out to play at night. Both player 2/3 have completed their badges.

Since you are working on snowmen get one of the extra players to make Bingo Snowman. Three cards will get you the prizes faster. Also extra Icy Items for decorating a room or selling at retail. A wall sold for 8888.

Usually in my random free time, I work on new combinations of plants/outdoor decor, redecorating/decorating my houses, working on QR code patterns or finding some, doing random glitchy stuff with friends, island hopping on Club Tortimer, or clean out my messy hoarding town. (or hoard more stuff and kick myself later when it piles up)
