Super Mario Galaxy is a great game but it doesn't really seem to be the best game this year by the media. XBOX 360 titles seem to be in the media more so than Wii games.

I don't, but when everyone's opinion is practically synonymous, then I think there's reason to suspect the game won't be too great. Most of the problems apparently lie with poor level design and very frustrating controls.
