I'm Getting Nothing But Lazy Villagers

I noticed something a bit peculiar when island hopping these past few days. I have visited more islands than I can count and something that quickly became apparent is that I am only getting lazy villagers right now. It happened after Lily (who I invited) and Flora moved to the town. I have yet to complete the 5th villager plot as I am searching for a villager I want. It seems that these conditions have made the game only give me one personality type when island hopping.

I'm not complaining. In fact this is incredibly helpful because I really want Alfonso in my town and this will make finding him so much easier. If we could figure out if there are points later in the game where this occurs, this could make island hopping for villagers so much easier. Maybe this is all old news to a lot of people, but I have yet to see anyone talk about this.

I read on here that you're more likely to find personality types you don't currently have, so that may be the reason.

Your still with your first 5 villagers, the personalities for your 3 move-ins are a peppy, normal, and lazy which is locked which explains why this is happening to you..

Are these the 3 villagers that move in after your starting two? Those 3 will always be normal, peppy, and lazy. Since you got normal and peppy you will only be seeing lazies for now.

Your 3rd 4th and 5th villagers are locked to the 3 personalities Normal, Peppy, and Lazy. You are pre-determined to get one of each. That's why you're only seeing lazies right now. This changes when you're able to see them on islands again after your 6th villager ^^
