Normally it is the hand held games that die off before the console games, and yet, here it seems like people are playing the DS version of Animal Crossing more then the Wii one now and days...

I tip my hat to you guys.

Just showing some gamer respect.

That's because both games are so similar to each other, so similar that Wild World is like City Folk on the go. It can also be said that City Folk is Wild World Wii.

It's easier for me to get hooked to Wild World. It's much faster to get the game started, and it's portable.

WW just 'felt' better, they took out some of the games quirks, like the 'talking to myself's and the random messages in a bottle youd find on the beach and stuff...

In my opinion they are both good. I feel that they both have their pros and cons but I feel that Wild World is just easier to pick up and start playing.

Let me count everything that's better in WW:

More visitors
Better dialog
Characters were mature and fun loving at the same time
Grumpy characters were mean, as they SHOULD have been
Easier to get a gold axe
Can get Villager Pics
Bugs are MILES easier to catch
No grass wear
Smaller town = Easier perfect town
Easier to get visitor items
It's portable, I can play it on holiday and in the car or on the bus
Insurance was a fun addition
Ability to remove bad luck
Lost kitten and Gulliver are WAY more common
All but a few Lost Kitten items can be ordered
Feathers are MUCH cheaper
Flower contests
Bright night holiday
Turnips on Table Glitch
1 5 roomed house, but for 4 players.
Pattern palates are more diverse
Bigger Lost + found and Recycling bin
Gates can be ANYWHERE on the back wall, adds variety
It felt rewarding to get items
Mush and Snowman furniture won't repeat until you have all the pieces
Easier to get foreign fruit
Slower frame rate means I can catch bugs and fish easier
Can have a pattern on your character's menu
Wishy the star was awesome, I got my 1st Master Sword this way!
Redd's passwords were fun
Redd as a character seemed more shady
Local multiplayer is MUCH better

Some of the things you said were bad though...

Smaller town????

Also, there are many Pros in city folk.
If you give them an item for instance, they USE IT IN THEIR HOUSE.
well,
what i mean to say is...
you didnt look at the many pros of CF
like good graphics

Here are my 3 pro for each game

ACCF:
They brought back more holidays
Wiispeak is great
The City can be exciting and fun

ACWW:
Fun and easy
Portable
Doesn't need wifi to play with friends

I like the Bright Nights & Acorn Festivals, and the Garden Contests. If there was a Garden Contest in CF, I'd win every time because I'm good at hybrid breeding. It seems tougher on WW, though. At least the purple pansies look better.
