I’m so appreciative but the ONE things I’m a little bummed about..

No online play. I mean of course we can invite people to our island but no activities similar to tortimer island tours. I really wanted that aspect back in the game. I?m having a hard time figuring out what 8 strangers are gonna do on a island together without mini games. I suppose sitting around and talking is fine but it?s not really gaming.

there might still be minigame tools, or tour packages yet to be revealed that friends can go on. i remember the alarm item in new leaf allowed you to play games with your friends by setting a timer and a challenge, like bug or fish catching. i really doubt they'd overlook something as big as party games here, we just haven't been shown everything yet. we need to keep in mind reveal of new features doesn't mean exclusion of ones yet to be shown.

it might still be an option - i think there was something about a hidden island circulating on the forums so maybe that’s where the tortimer island tours will be?

I'm sure they have a really big challenge on keeping things secret and that letting us know other things.

Tortimer island wasn’t mentioned In NL promo material from 2012 as far as I could see...I wouldn’t give up hope just yet

I am sure we only got like 10% of information on this game so far. It's a huge game. We are missing so much information!

Well. Nintendo Directs do have a tendency of making sure not to reveal EVERYTHING. Soo they must be saving surprises for us to discover.

I saw some things that I think might be minigames- a mini golf set in Nook's tent, and a ring toss outside

I think it's very likely that there'll be minigames in some building somewhere.

I'm sure they'll make some sort of mini-games. They have local multiplayer now AND 8 player multiplayer. That's such a focus on new multiplayer features that it feels like they would have things built in to take advantage of it.

I like the offline tour games.
I hope they are there in some form, plus it was nice escaping from the villagers when requests and being pinged got too much.

I loved that escape.
