So the other day, my uncle called me up and told my sister and I that it was our turn to go travel. Every time one of his nieces or nephews turn 14, he brings them somewhere out of the country. Last year it was my brother's turn. Next year it's mine. He's telling us before hand so that we can have time to prepare ourselves. He said that we need to make a lot of money. He's being really nice and buying plane tickets for the three of us, and that's already a lot...
He told us that we each need to make $700.
The amount is just for spending money on things while we are there. He said that we need to make that much so we don't feel like we can't get anything because we have a shortage on cash. Last year, my brother didn't have as much time to prepare as we do now, so my parents ended up having to give him money in order to cover it. I don't want to make my parents have to do that. Covering all costs for 2 people is a lot. That's $1,400 there....
