Imbri
Resident Night Mare
Slowly, Salem is coming along. I've increased my house to the 8 x 8 dimension on the main room. As soon as I'm done paying the loan off, I'll either add a basement or second floor. I haven't quite decided yet. And more new residents! I'm so happy to see so many deciding to make Salem their home.
I received an invitation from former Mayer Tortimer to visit his island home; what a beautiful place! And everyone was so friendly, although some of Cap'n Kappa's songs.... I took advantage of some of the fun tours and got enough medals to win a black wet suit. Now I can go swimming at home in Salem, something I dreamed about when I chose my cliff-side location for my home.
As Mayor, I enacted my first Ordinance - the Night Owl. The residents haven't grumbled much, so I'm sure once everyone readjusts to the new schedule, it'll be a lot of fun. Funds are also coming in for the new cobblestone bridge over the river, more trees have been planted (I brought back lots of fruit from the island), flowers are blooming, and as soon as the Nooklings carry an axe for sale, I'll start making a little more order out of the town. Tree-lined avenues for paths, fields for flowers, and open space for running and playing will make our town beautiful.
