Indicator to show if poster is online?

Hi don't know how hard it would be but...... It would be good to have a little green light just to the left of a post header to show if the poster is online or not wouldn't it? I think it would be useful when trading say, or just generally. I've no idea how hard this would be to implement.

So would people want such an indicator displayed by posts....yes/no/who cares?

plus there is a users online list on the home page so, what????????// just check their name on the list or click on the thread to see if theyre online instead of wasting time programming a feature that already exists in multiple other ways

much as I don't like hidden options (especially for places such as this, where you may need to know if the person is online or not), I'd feel like kinda an ass for saying to remove it, so....

I remember when we could see avatars on the subforums, it glitched terribly. So, it's probably going to be glitchy, ugly, and be a waste of time to implement when you see who's online with two clicks tops.

glitching aside, I'm glad it got ditched. due to just being even more (pointless) **** to have to load

Just check their activity if they have invisible mode on, the green light is enough to tell you that someone is online and like others mentioned there is the list of online users on the front page. Plus it's really not that hard to click on the thread to see if the poster is online
